What keeps you going?
First there is that initial spark of interest, that quick burn of passion pushing you in the right direction, but what keeps that flame burning? How many ideas will be written down and forgotten about? We've all heard it before, "Consistency is Key" and it is. Repetition is what leads to perfection. Fine-tuning every detail. How do we keep that momentum in motion? How do we continue to release our ideas, thoughts, and expressions out into the world while making space for new information coming in? As we know these days, time moves fast. Things are constantly changing and what's relevant is a moving target. Does our voice only matter when we are speaking on relevant topics? I'd say no. I think what is true is timeless. I wish I could record and upload everything and i'm sure there is already technology for that. But for now, I try and record as much as I can. I'm sure I could do more and manifest my digital fingerprint more diligently. But doing so of course I have to ask myself, "is this all in vain?" Maybe it's a primal need for self-preservation. It's a need to let the world know I was here. I had thoughts and ideas, and I shared them. It really is that simple. We live in such a connected world it would almost be blasphemy to not take advantage of creating. If the goal is to grow, evolve and connect then I'd say i'm on the right track. That alone reaffirms my momentum. That reaffirms my habit to create. To continue. With all that we've learned surely we must share. It doesn't have to be perfect it just has to be something. An attempt and really that is asking the bare minimum, but we have to start somewhere. We have to keep practicing and repeating until the newness of whatever change we are trying to create becomes a reflective reality which we can tangibly see, notice, and feel. Momentum gives us momentum. Keep it up. Try again!
